Mike Mullins

Game Designer in Lincoln University, PA

I've been designing and developing tabletop games for over a decade. You can see many of the games I have worked on in the gallery above, or check out the 60+ design credits across 20+ properties on my designer page on Board Game Geek.

I am available for a wide variety of design and development gigs, including:

  • Ideation & design
  • Play testing & development
  • Solo mode adaptations
  • Writing

I will also do a solo mode consultation in exchange for any size donation to the Dravet Syndrome Foundation ($50 suggested but not required). You walk me through how your game works, and I'll break down a few ways that you can implement a solo mode. After the consultation you can take the idea and develop it, or we could discuss my fee for the work.

Testimonials
It's a joy working with Mike. We've worked as co-designers, he's done development work, and he's designed several solo variants for Button Shy. Mike always challenges me to defend my ideas, which helps us get to the core of what we're trying to accomplish with each game mechanism.
Jason Tagmire, Button Shy Games
Mike is one of the most knowledgeable designers I know when it comes to solo games. His ability to get to the core of why a game is fun and then translate the drama of multiplayer into a complete solo experience amazes me. But he's definitely more than that! He's a great developer that I have worked with on several (non-solo) titles for various clients. He has the focus and attention to detail that you need in this industry.
